Dr. Dennis Au Cheuk-wing, PhD

Dr. Dennis Au is Director of Conduct Chinese Medicine Clinic and Chinese Medicine For All. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at HKBU in 2005 and received a doctoral degree in Chinese Medicine at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 2015.

In 2008, Dr. Au established Conduct Chinese Medicine Clinic which has now expanded to eight clinics across the territory. By innovatively combining traditional Chinese Medicine with contemporary management concepts, he has successfully brought concentrated Chinese medicinal products to the masses and has worked with various non-profit organisations to spearhead a number of community-wide Chinese medicine consultation projects, including an outreach project targeting young drug abusers in Hong Kong.

In 2014, Dr. Au set up a centralised pharmacy providing patients with one-stop Chinese medicine decoction and delivery service. In the same year, he also established HHK Chinese Medicine Centre in Sham Shui Po, the first-of-its-kind in Hong Kong to provide free services to the needy.

Dr. Au was the Founding President of the HKBU YP Cai Hall Alumni Association which established the HKBU Cai Yuan Pei Foundation to support the construction of a school in rural area of mainland China. By establishing the charitable organisation Chinese Medicine For All, Dr. Au endeavours to create a network of young practitioners who promote Chinese medicine overseas and volunteer their time to serve people in areas with poor medical resources, including the Philippines, the Thailand-Burma border and Cambodia.

Dr. Au is currently Secretary of the Hong Kong Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Medicine Advisor of Hong Kong Children and Youth Services, and Neo-Horizon of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council, Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Operation Advisor of HHK Chinese Medicine Centre and honorary fellow of HKBU YP Cai Hall. He received the silver award of the HSBC Youth Business Award, the runner-up award for the Global Entrepreneur of the Year and the 5th Young Leader title from the Harbour Junior Chamber.
