Mr. Patrick Siu Chiu-shun

Mr. Patrick Siu, Managing Director of Wellfit Multi-Media Group, has over 30 years of experience in the multimedia industry. After graduating from the Department of Geography of Hong Kong Baptist College, he joined the Variety Show Department of Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) where he produced programmes such as Jade Solid Gold and Enjoy Yourself Tonight, and directed music videos and programmes for famous singers. Later he served as the Executive Producer of the TVB Variety Show Department, and produced a number of notable mega variety shows and programmes including Splendid Mother Land, Nat Chan The Best Show, Body Talks, TVB Anniversary Gala and Miss Hong Kong Pageant.

Mr. Siu founded Wellfit Productions Limited with his fellow partners to produce TV programmes, concerts, mega events and video recording for Chinese-speaking communities around the world. Their productions such as Dragon Boating, James’ Love for Hong Kong, So Good, China à La Li, Nat Around The World and Hong Kong London Connection have become some of the most popular TV programmes acquired by TV stations.

With his rich knowledge and experience in media production, Mr. Siu spares no effort in giving back to his alma mater and society. Mr. Siu has been a guest lecturer of the School of Communication of HKBU and produced mega events in celebration of HKBU’s 50th, 55th and 60th anniversaries as well as the 14th Global Chinese Universities Student Film and Television Festival for the Academy of Film. In addition, Mr. Siu founded the Sounds Great project which produces audio books of celebrity interviews, pop music and literary classics to benefit over 20,000 elderly people. This meaningful project was recognised by the Home Affairs Department of the HKSAR Government and was recommended for the Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme.

Always keeping abreast of the ever-changing multimedia industry, Mr. Siu exemplifies life-long learning. He obtained a Master’s degree in Media Management at HKBU and is now taking the Doctor of Business Administration Programme at HKBU.
