Event Information

Two speakers expressed to the audience that a strong conviction is required to fight for the values one believes as incidents and policies will not change in one day.  Alumna Ho shared that change is the rule in politics and therefore she never gets tired.  She remarked that one needs to know when to hold on or let go and to remain positive.  Alumnus Kam elaborated further that participants can get started in political arena through various channels including getting involved in election, becoming members of some established associations, professional bodies or chamber of commerce, participating in voluntary work of political parties or working in the Government.

The panel discussion was chaired by Dr. Kenneth Chan Ka-lok, Associate Professor of Department of Government and International Studies, whereby participants grasped the opportunity to raise questions.
