A Joint Initiative of Alumni Get-together by HKBU School of Business Alumni Association and the School of Business Connects Alumni
Event Information
A joint initiative by HKBU School of Business and HKBU School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA), an alumni get-together was held on 26 March to reunite alumni and friends of the University. The event attracted over 100 alumni, faculty members and guests to attend and it was graced by the presence of Professor Martin Wong, Provost of HKBU, and Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning).
The event was kick-started by welcome remarks by Professor Cheng Yuk-shing, Interim Dean of the School of Business. He was delighted that the School was able to connect with the alumni through the event. The Guest of Honour, Professor Martin Wong, also delivered a speech regarding global economic slowdown.
An Inauguration Ceremony of the new Executive Committee of SBAA was also held at the event. Alumnus Stephen Yung (Business Administration), the newly elected President, took the opportunity to share with guests the mission and the upcoming events of SBAA.
All guests enjoyed the evening to the fullest and treasured the moments of catching up with each other.
