During the visit, the Delegation, including Ms Christine Chow and Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs, had a dinner gathering with representatives of HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai (HKBUSHAA), including alumnus Gilman Too (Communication), Honorary President; alumnus Leon Huang (MBA), President; and alumni Chen Junliang (Applied Economics), Lee Yee-ping (Business Administration), Lin Lin (Media Management), Kenny Wong (Geography) and Kitty Yeung (Business Administration).

During the dinner, the Delegation discussed with representatives of HKBUSHAA on how to foster and expand the connections between Shanghai alumni and their alma mater. Ms Christine Chow invited HKBUSHAA to render their full support for the alumni gathering which will be held in Shanghai this year, with the hope of uniting the alumni there through the extensive network of HKBUSHAA and strengthening their ties with alma mater. Alumnus Gilman Too also took the opportunity to share the latest developments of the Association with the Delegation, including the number of members which had been growing constantly. The attending alumni also pledged their dedication to continually support the development of the University and promote the exchange and collaboration between the University and different parties in Shanghai.
