Event Information

Attended by over 60 alumni members and guests, HKBU Century Club (Century Club) Annual General Meeting 2012 was held on 7 December at a wine cellar in San Po Kong. The meeting was followed by a buffet dinner in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Club’s Sponsorship Scheme at the same venue.

The Club was honored to have the presence of Mr. William Leung, Treasurer of the Council and the Court, and Prof. Frank Fu, Associate Vice-President, in the event. Alumna Marianna Tsang, Century Club’s President, briefed members on the Club’s activities and projects in the past year and gave special thanks to members for their ardent support. At the end of the Annual General Meeting, Prof. Frank Fu and Marianna presented cheques to representatives of the “Sponsorship Scheme 2012” winning projects and an appreciation plaque to the new Patron, alumnus Wong Nga-chung, who has donated $300,000 to the Club in support of the University’s development.
