HKBU 18th Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony

HKBU conferred Honorary University Fellowships on seven distinguished persons at the 18th Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony on 21 September in recognition of their significant contributions to society and staunch support for the University. The seven recipients are Dr Sunny Chai Ngai-chiu, the Hon Kenneth Fok Kai-kong, Ms Leonie Ki Man-fung, Mr Arthur Lee Kin, Mr Mongkolchai Mavichien, Professor Alexander B Murphy and Mr Sunny Wong Hak-kun.
The Ceremony was officiated by Dr Clement Chen, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU, Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU; and the senior management of the University. In his address, President Wai acknowledged the seven recipients as well-respected and renowned leaders who have stayed positive and resilient, risen above difficulties and achieved extraordinary success.
On behalf of the Honorary University Fellows, the Hon Kenneth Fok Kai-kong delivered his Vote of Thanks for the honour bestowed. He thanked HKBU for conferring Honorary University Fellowships upon them and expressed gratitude to everyone at HKBU, who have worked tirelessly to nurture young people, teaching them to care, to be creative, to have a global perspective and to be a better person, a contributor to society.
