HKBUnity Starts with Class Representatives!

Event Information

Filled with the strength of unity and the passion to serve, over 60 class representatives of 2012 attended a lunch gathering cum pleading ceremony on 25 April 2012 (Wednesday) at James Mau Memorial Chapel.

Delivering the opening remarks, President and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Albert S C Chan acknowledged the important role of the class representatives in building sustainable relationship between alumni and the University and thanked them for their time and efforts in the service.

Apart from getting to know one another, the class representatives vowed to fulfill their mission in the pledging ceremony led by Associate Vice-President Prof. Frank Fu Hoo-kin. Each class representative was also presented a Certificate of Appointment.

The Class Representative System is an initiative kicked off by the Alumni Affairs Office in April 2012 with an aim of building close tie with alumni-to-be. Class representatives are composed of nominated undergraduate students, chairpersons of academic societies and executive members of Student Union. For details, please call 3411 7877.
