HKBU co-organised the "HKBN Talent Recruit@BUhub" Recruitment Week with HKBN through BUhub, an interactive online platform that aims to help HKBU students and graduates in the areas of job-seeking, career advising, mentorship, business incubation and entrepreneurship. In addition to providing a significant number of employment opportunities for graduates and current students, the Recruitment Week delivered an online alumni sharing session and two online workshops for participants to interact with HKBU alumni and professionals who are working at HKBN, so as to learn more about the company culture and career prospects at HKBN.

Alumni Wilson Yeung (Computer Science) and Amy Tsui (Business Administration), who are respectively the Senior Manager - Information Technology and Assistant Manager - Talent Performance and Rewards at HKBN, spoke at the alumni sharing session entitled “Tailor your skills for the most in-demand jobs in the new normal” on 21 May. Moderated by alumna Sheila Yung (Business Administration), Associate Director of Human Resources Office of HKBU, Wilson and Amy shared with the audience the HKBN new ways of working in the post-pandemic era; and answered participants’ questions on how to prepare themselves for the ever-changing work landscape and requirements.

The two other workshops, delivered by the HR professionals of HKBN on 24 May and 25 May respectively, covered the company culture and job opportunities of HKBN, as well as useful tips and career advice for working in HKBN.
