HKBU MBA Team Scoops the Sand Gull Award at the Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge
Event Information
On 21-24 August, a team of the HKBU Master of Business Administration (MBA) comprising 24 students and alumni competed in the 9th Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge at the Tengger Desert of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and was awarded the highest group honour – Sand Gull Award in the competition.
As an annual athletic and cultural event, the Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge is exclusive for the MBA community from top business schools across the Asia-Pacific region. During the three-day competition, the contesting teams walked through more than 70 kilometers in the extreme desert conditions. Embracing the University’s motto “Faith and Perseverance”, the MBA team overcame the challenge with a remarkable result this year.
