Finale of United Digitally for the Homecoming Day - School of Business
Event Information
The first-ever digital alumni meet-ups United Digitally, comprising 8 sessions for 21 Departments, has attracted over a thousand alumni to gather online during the Homecoming Day 2020. The online gatherings allowed the University, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, to reach out to alumni community and, in particular, to provide alumni with a platform to connect with their alma mater and classmates across different generations and borders in this unusual time.
As a finale of the United Digitally, the virtual gathering of the School of Business was held on 5 December. Dean, School of Business Prof. Ed Snape; Head of Department of Accountancy and Law Dr. Byron Y. Song; Head of Department of Economics Prof. Cheng Yuk-shing; Head of Department of Finance and Decision Sciences Prof. Aristotelis Stouraitis; Associate Head of Department of Management Dr. Jamie Y.H. Cheung; Senior Lecturer of Department of Management Dr. Brandon Ng Hoi-man; and Head of Department of Marketing Prof. Henry Fock, greeted around a hundred alumni on Zoom and shared with them the latest developments and achievements of the School and the Departments.
Filled with joy of the reunion, the faculty and alumni were keen on exchanging their insights and ideas about the development of the School. They also took the opportunity to re-connect with each other, and to foster closer interactions in the Business alumni community.
