President Chin Hosts a Dinner for Alumni and Eminent Community Leaders

On 8 July, President Prof. Roland Chin hosted a dinner at his residence, Shiu Pong Hall, for both alumni and community leaders.
Guests attending the dinner included alumnus Dr. Justin Chiu, Executive Director of CK Asset Holdings Limited, and his spouse Mrs. Rita Chiu; alumnus William Yeung, Co-Owner and Executive Vice-Chairman of HKBN Group; alumnus Patrick Siu, Managing Director of Wellfit Multi-media Group Limited; alumnus Mr. Lawrence Cheng, Director and Producer; alumna Kitty Lun, Head of Creative Shop of Facebook, Greater China, and Ms. Kitty Ip, Director of Link-Work Communications (HK) Limited.
At the dinner, Prof. Chin introduced to the guests HKBU’s new initiative “Project SEED”, an initiative that aims to help graduating students to cope with the challenges amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. He also exchanged views with the guests on the recent development of the University. After the dinner, alumna Kitty Lun pledged to donate HK$200,000 to Project SEED.
