Association of “Chow Yiu Fai Lyrics Writing Course Alumni” Organises Its First Event on Lyrics Review
Event Information
On 3 November, “Chow Yiu Fai Lyrics Writing Course Alumni” organised its first reunion event entitled “歌詞初哥X「刁鑽」樂評人”. The event was attended by around 70 alumni who are alumni of the “Chinese Lyrics Writing Course” of Department of Humanities and Creative Writing, guests and Cantopop lovers. The event focused mainly on the appreciation of lyrics. At the event, Dr. Chow Yiu-Fai and the invited music critics shared their experience of lyrics writing, and discussed with the audience their perspectives of lyrics appreciation.
The “Chinese Lyrics Writing Course” is organized and taught by the Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Creative Writing, Dr. Chow Yiu-Fai. The Association of “Chow Yiu Fai Lyrics Writing Course Alumni” was newly formed with the aim of connecting alumni and promoting Chinese lyrics writing.
