Event Information

Organised by the Alumni Affairs Office and sponsored by the Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association (HKBUAA), the Alumni Soccer Seven was successfully held at the Joint Sports Centre on 26 October. The event received an overwhelming response from over 200 alumni and staff, 17 teams were formed to compete in the Challenge Cup, Open and Advance Divisions of the Soccer Seven. The Alumni Soccer Seven has been a popular and important event in the HKBU alumni community, with many alumni coming all the way from overseas and Mainland China to participate in it.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Tyrone Siu, Immediate Past President of HKBUAA, and Mr. Kelvin Wu, Vice President of HKBUAA cum President of Chinese Christian Universities Alumni Association, who presented the prizes to the winning teams.

In appreciation of the contribution of the Organising Committee of the Alumni Soccer Seven event over the years, Mr. Tyrone Siu also presented souvenirs to members of the Organising Committee, including alumni Jason Mok (Chemistry), Roger Xue (Mathematics; Scientific Computing) and Tim Leung (Physical Education and Recreation Management).
