MBA Zhuhai Class of 2017 Establishes Endowment Fund to Benefit HKBU Students

The MBA Zhuhai class of 2017 have recently made a donation of HK$136,666 to establish an endowment fund as a class gift to the alma mater. Mr. Wu Jun, representative of the Class, presented a donation cheque to the University at the MBA High Table Dinner on 16 March, witnessed by around 100 MBA students from Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
The donation was facilitated by the former President of HKBU Alumni Association alumnus Tyrone Siu (History) and current President alumnus Alex Leung (Business Administration). The endowment fund aims to establish a scholarship to award an outstanding student annually.
At the high table dinner, Chairman of HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association alumnus Zhao Yongshuang delivered a speech, in which he shared his career development since graduating from MBA fifteen years ago. A candle lighting ceremony was also conducted to symbolize the passing of the University’s motto to the next generation.
