HKBU Homecoming Day - Grand Reunion Dinner

The fun-filled day reached its climax at the Grand Reunion Dinner, which was a happy gathering of a mix of 400 alumni spanning six generations, from over 22 disciplines, 17 Alumni Associations, HKBU academic and administrative staff and University management. Hosted by the masters of ceremonies alumna Karen Cheng (Communication) and alumnus Eric Ng (Communication), the Dinner was kick-started by President Chin’s welcome remarks accompanied by a sharing of the latest achievements of the University and contribution of the alumni for the betterment of society.
Another highlight of the dinner was the singing performance by the award winning alumnus Yorfy Ma (Chemistry). Attending guests were also amused with the amazing magic show which involved the participation of President Chin in the mind reading trick performed by alumnus Bond Lee (Psychology).
The Dinner ended on a happy note when President Chin, Court and Council members, Honorary University Fellows, awardees of Distinguished Alumni Award, as well as presidents and past presidents of various alumni associations sang a finale song “Proud of You” together on stage.
