HKBU Alumni Association of Macau (Macau AA) Holds Inauguration Ceremony and Reunion Lunch

The HKBU Alumni Association of Macau was inaugurated and held its reunion lunch on 12 May in Macau University of Science and Technology. Over 60 guests including President Professor Roland Chin, Mrs. Zina Chin, President Emeritus Dr. Daniel Tse, Mrs. Kitty Tse, Associate Vice-President (Engagement) Mr. CK Yeung, Chairman of Alumni Committee of HKBU Foundation alumnus Sunny Wong (Business Management), Vice-Chairman alumnus Dickson Shang (Business Management), Member alumnus Wong Nga-chung (Honorary University Fellow; Business Management), Member alumnus Bernard Wu (Accounting), Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee, Director of University Advancement Mrs. Lily Chan and alumni attended the event and sent their congratulations to Macau AA. Alumnus Dr. Sammy Liu, Chancellor of the Macau University of Science and Technology, and alumna May Liu hosted a luncheon for the HKBU delegation and all guests.

The highlight of the Inauguration Ceremony was the receipt of the Constitution and seal by the new President of Macau AA, alumnus Paul Pang, from Founding President alumnus Jackson Chan, signifying the inauguration of the General Assembly, Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of the Association. 

The new General Assembly, Board of Directors and Supervisory Board are composed of the following members:

At the reunion lunch held after the ceremony, Professor Chin shared with the alumni the latest development of HKBU and the University’s strategic plan for the next 10 years. The new members of General Assembly, Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of the Association committed to connecting the alumni in Macau and keeping them abreast of the alma mater’s development.
