HKBU Alumni Enjoy Warm Reunion on Homecoming Day 2010

HKBU's Homecoming Day was held last Saturday (27 November 2010), providing an invaluable opportunity for graduates of different years to reunite at their alma mater. Alumni renewed old friendships with former classmates and teachers by participating in a wide range of activities, including games, special performances and a tea reception. Some alumni took part in the 7-a-side soccer match between old friends.
At an investiture ceremony, alumni who graduated 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years ago were each presented with a medal by Prof. Albert S C Chan, President and Vice-Chancellor, in recognition of their contribution to society and their achievements in various roles over the years.
The Homecoming Day concluded with a reunion dinner attended by over 300 participants. Prof. Chan updated alumni on the University's development and expressed gratitude for their continuous support. He also reminded alumni that 2011 will mark HKBU's 55th anniversary, and invited them to join the upcoming celebratory activities.
