Event Information

The Department of Social Work, HKBU Social Work Alumni Association (SOWKAA), Hong Kong Baptist University Social Work Learning and Exchange Foundation Fund and the Social Work Society jointly held a Gala Dinner to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of graduation from the Department of Social Work on 14 November 2010. More than 280 guests including overseas alumni attended the Dinner. The Annual General Meeting of the SOWKAA was also held on the occasion. A special ceremony was held at the end of the Dinner with guests passing a lit candle to symbolize the “Inheritance of Spirit” in the Department.
