HKBU Diamond Jubilee Soccer-Seven sponsored by HKBU Alumni Association was successfully held at Joint Sports Centre on 19 November. The annual soccer event scored another record-breaking result with the participation of 20 teams of players.  “Challenge Cup”, a special division was also introduced for senior cohorts on top of the “Open” and “Advance” divisions to showcase HKBU sportsmanship.

Over 200 soccer players gathered at the soccer pitch to witness the kick-off ceremony officiated by Vice-President (Research and Development) Prof. Rick Wong, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) Dr. Albert Chau, Associate Vice-Presidents Prof. Frank Fu and Prof. Ricky Wong, Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Adrian Bailey and HKBU Alumni Association President alumnus Tyrone Siu. After the remarks made by Prof. Rick Wong, he presented special souvenirs to members of the Organising Committee including alumni Jason Mok, Roger Xue and Tim Leung, to thank their joint effort contributed to the match.
