HKBU 60th Anniversary Department of Physical Education Alumni Homecoming Dinner
Event Information
More than 280 alumni and staff attended the HKBU 60th Anniversary Alumni Homecoming Dinner co-organised by the Alumni Affairs Office and Department of Physical Education at Renfrew Restaurant on 21 July 2016. The three alumni associations viz., HKBU Physical Education and Recreation Management Alumni Association, Alumni Association of Physical Education Department Post-graduate Studies and the Hong Kong Baptist university Sport and Recreation Leadership Alumni Association also rendered full support to the event. It was one of the largest scale HKBU 60th Anniversary Alumni celebration activities held on campus.
The dinner was graced by the presence of President Roland Chin, Vice-President (Research & Development), Prof. Rick Wong, Vice-President (Teaching & Learning), Dr. Albert Chau, Associate Vice-President and Chairman of HKBU 60th Anniversary Co-ordinating Committee, Prof. Frank Fu and Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Adrian Bailey.
Following speeches by President Chin, Head of the Physical Education Department Prof. Chung Pak Kwong and Prof. Frank Fu, were the cake-cutting and toasting ceremony. Alumni from three decades (1990’s, 2000’s and 2010’s), staff and their family members shared fond and precious memories through a video featuring their school life at HKBU. The unity and laughter left a high note in everyone’s heart at the end of the occasion.
