Event Information

Attended by 50 alumni members and guests, HKBU Century Club concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2015 and held a dinner with President and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Roland Chin at Regal Court of Regal Kowloon Hotel in Tsui Sha Tsui on 3 December. The Club was honoured to have the presence of President Chin, Associate Vice-President Prof. Frank Fu and Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee at the dinner.

During the AGM, President of the Club alumnus Kent Tsui Kwok-yue presented his first President’s Report on the Club’s activities and fruitful outcomes. On behalf of the Club, he expressed the deepest gratitude to the Board of Directors, Patrons and the Honorary Auditor RSM Nelson Wheeler for their ardent support to the Club and the alma mater over the years. He also thanked Prof. Fu for rendering advice and the Alumni Affairs Office for providing secretarial service to the Club.

The meeting was followed by a dinner with President Chin, at which video highlights of the inauguration ceremony of President Chin was shown. President Chin also introduced his vision, priorities and the latest development of the University.

In addition, at the occasion, President Chin, Prof. Fu and Patrons also jointly presented the cheques to the winners of the “HKBU Century Club Sponsorship Scheme 2015” (Please click here to view the Scheme’s result). President Chin, together with Kent, also welcomed the three new members to the Club, namely alumnus Ip Ka-po, alumna Belinda Luk Kwai-sim and alumnus William Lu Wai-lam.
