Event Information

As the kick-off programme of Homecoming Day, HKBU Alumni Soccer-Seven was successfully held at Joint Sports Centre on 24 October 2015. There were 15 teams, over 200 alumni and staff participating to showcase HKBU sportsmanship whereby MBA alumni from Mainland China joined the match for the first time. HKBU Alumni Association has sponsored the event for five consecutive years.

Embellished by the beautiful sunshine, more than 200 soccer players gathered at the soccer pitch to witness the kick-off ceremony officiated by President and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Roland Chin, Vice-President (Research and Development) Prof. Rick Wong, Associate Vice-Presidents Prof. Frank Fu and Prof. Ricky Wong and HKBU Alumni Association President alumnus Tyrone Siu Tai-lun. After his remarks, Prof. Chin presented tailored-made souvenirs to members of the Organising Committee including alumni Jason Mok Chun-sing, Roger Xue Kwan-cheuk and Tim Leung Ka-chun, to thank them for their joint efforts.
