The HKBU Century Club (Century Club) Sponsorship Scheme (the Scheme) which aims at granting financial support to University projects that contribute to the betterment and sustainable development of HKBU received more applications from different faculties and departments this year. In July 2010, the judging session resolved to grant nearly HK$300,000 to support the following 10 academic and student development projects submitted by seven Faculties and Departments:

• Academy of Visual Arts - HKBU Visual Arts Axis for Community Arts Service
• Department of Geography - Geography Field Studies and Lecture Fund
• Department of Physical Education - Century Club Youth Summer Sports Camps for the 21^st Century
• School of Business - Developing Global Perspective of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability for Future Business Leaders
• Centre for Translation - The 4^th Cross-Straits Symposium on Translation and Intercultural Communication
• Faculty of Science - Whole Person Development Programme for Science Elites
• Faculty of Science - Research Postgraduate Fellowship
• Faculty of Science - Student Internship Programme
• Faculty of Science - Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship
• School of Business - IIBD Case Competition 2010 on Corporate Sustainability
